Prisoner dies at Rajshahi jail

An elderly prisoner, sentenced to life-term imprisonment in a murder case, died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital yesterday.

Nur-e Alam Khokon, 65, of Bodolgachhi upazila of Naogaon, died around 6:00am, said Shahadat Hossain of Rajshahi Central Jail, adding that he was taken to the hospital the previous day after he suffered a heart attack.
