Port City mobile court fines six errant pharmacies

A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration yesterday fined six pharmacies Tk 55,000 in Chittagong city on different charges including selling of date expired, and unapproved medicines.

In Firingi Bazar Sabuj Pharmacy and Trishna Medical Hall were fined Tk 5,000 and 10,000 respectively.

Trishna Medical Hall was also sealed off for having no license.

Meanwhile in Bakalia, M/S Basundhara Pharmacy, M/S BN Pharmacy, M/S Haque Pharmacy and M/S Japan Dental Care were fined Tk 5,000, Tk 20,000, Tk 10,000 and Tk 5,000 respectively.
