Newlyweds found hanging in capital

A newlywed couple was found hanging from a hook of the ceiling of their tin-shed house at  Badda Anandanagar in the capital yesterday.

Neighbours last saw Md Shahin, 22, around 8:00am when he went to an outdoor washroom. Later, receiving no response from inside the house, the neighbours peeped in and saw the hanging bodies.

Badda police sent the bodies of Shahin, an employee of a local furniture shop, and his wife Ruby, 19, to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. Police could not ascertain the reason behind the deaths.
