Man gets life term for killing wife

A Rajshahi court yesterday sentenced a man and his second wife to life term imprisonment for killing his first wife in Rajshahi city in June, 2011.

The convicts are Harunur Rashid and Monwara khatun.

According to the prosecution story, the duo killed Sazeda Khatun in their rented house in Shilinda area under Rajpara Police Station and fled.

Later, locals found the decomposed body and informed police.
