Man 'commits suicide' in Jamalpur

A man allegedly committed suicide by slitting his throat at Shekherchar village in Merurchar of Bakshiganj upazila in Jamalpur early yesterday.
The deceased was Syed Jamal, 75, of the village. 
Quoting victim's wife Achhia Begum, police said Jamal had been suffering from mental disorder for last four years. Achhia heard Jamal groaning early yesterday and found her husband in a pool of blood and a machete beside him.
