LGD makes e-tendering mandatory

The Local Government Division has made e-tendering mandatory in procurement for its all subordinate organisations and offices.

To ensure transparency, accountability and good governance, the LGD has issued the order yesterday.

If the order to launch electronic government procurement (e-GP) system is not followed within January 31, legal action will be taken against them, says a press release.
