Int'l standard education must for development

Global Study, an education consultancy firm in Dhaka, celebrated its 11th founding anniversary in the capital's The Daily Star Centre yesterday.

At the ceremony, Biren Sikder, state minister for youth and sports, said international standard education are must for integrated development of Bangladesh.

To ensure quality education, the country's youths have to be sent abroad so that they can play an important role in the development with their experience and knowledge, he said.

He praised Global Study's efforts in education consultancy.

Sonargaon University Vice Chancellor Prof MA Razzak, Eastern University pro-VC Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Academia English medium school Managing Director Kutub Uddin, Saint John's Tutorial in-charge Mahbubul Islam and Global Study MD Amal Chandra Dhar spoke on the occasion.
