Girl ‘commits suicide' in Rangpur

A girl allegedly committed suicide by taking pesticide following a family feud in Paschimpara village of Badarganj upazila of Rangpur on Thursday night.

Quoting victim's family, police said Shirin Sultana, 12, daughter of Ali Akbar of the village took pesticide following an altercation with her mother in the evening.

Family members rushed her to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where she died at night.
