Gas leak explosion in Narayanganj: One dies from burn injuries

A man who sustained burn injury along with five other family members in an explosion at their flat in Narayanganj city early Tuesday, has died early today.

The victim, Mishal (28), with 90 percent burn injury died at 3:00am today while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, Dr Partha Sangkar Paul, residential doctor of the burn institute confirmed to The Daily Star.

Of the rest, three are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit of the burn institute with severe burn injuries, said the doctor.

Earlier on Tuesday night, six members of a family, including two children, were burnt in an explosion in their flat in Narayanganj city.
