Four Dhaka University officials suspended

The Dhaka University authorities have suspended four of its officials over leaking the results of professional examinations in private medical colleges affiliated with DU before their announcement.

The suspension came on Tuesday night after proctorial team member Shahadat Hossen, examination control office security guard Abul Hossen, section officer Ranjan Chowdhury, and staff Bidhan Chandra Roy were handed over to Shahbagh police, Proctor M Amzad Ali confirmed to The Daily Star yesterday.

A case was also filed against them and further actions would be taken after investigation, he added.
