Five errant pharmacies fined in Ctg

A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration in the city yesterday fined five pharmacies Tk 45,000 for various irregularities including not having license and selling government medicines.

Tuhin Pharmacy and DN Medico in Goalpara were fined Tk 10,000 each.

In Kodomtoli area, Golap Pharmacy and Nusrat Medical Hall were fined Tk 10,000 each while New Shafi Pharmacy Tk 5,000.

Other pharmacy owners in the areas ran away closing their pharmacies soon after the drive started, court sources said.
