Fire at Kathalbagan slum brought under control

A fire that broke out at Kathalbagan slum in the capital's Kalabagan area tonight was brought under control.

The fire broke out around 9:38pm.

Six firefighting units brought the fire under control around 10:15pm, said Mohammad Juwel, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

The cause of the fire and information on casualties could not be known immediately.
