Fire at Banani T&T Colony brought under control

A fire broke out at Banani T&T Colony area in Dhaka this afternoon, and has since been brought under control.

Eight fire fighting units worked to douse the fire that originated around 3:00pm, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

The fire was brought under control at 4:05pm.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
