Fakhrul leaves for Singapore for treatment

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir left Dhaka for Singapore again yesterday morning for treatment. 

He along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 8:45am, Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chairperson's media wing told The Daily Star.

Fakhrul will receive treatment at the National University Hospital in Singapore for different health complexities.

He is scheduled to return home on October 21.

Earlier, after being released from jail six months after his arrest, Fakhrul went to Singapore for treatment at the same hospital on July 27.
