Eight jailed for selling adulterated lobster, banned African catfish

A mobile court backed by Rapid Action Battalion yesterday seized 1,300kg of adulterated lobster and banned African catfish from the capital's Karwan Bazar wholesale market and imprisoned eight persons in different terms in this connection.

Executive Magistrate Helal Uddin conducted the drive assisted by Nazim Uddin, an official of the Directorate of Fisheries, said Maj Maksudul Alam, deputy director (media) of Rab, told The Daily Star.
