Drug peddler jailed for six months in Lalmonirhat

A mobile court sentenced a drug trader to six month's imprisonment in Durgapur village under Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat on Thursday night.
The convicted is Lavlu Miah, 35, of Durgapur village.
A team of police led by an executive magistrate of the court conducted a drive and arrested Lablu with 3 bottles of foreign beers, said police.
He had been selling foreign beer and wine in Durgapur and Lalmonirhat Sadar for a long time, police added.
