Drivers suspended for train crash
Two train drivers of Western Railway Zone in Pakshi have been suspended for negligence in duties which caused a head-on collision between two locomotives of Bangladesh Railway on Thursday night in Dinajpur's Parbatipur upazila.
The drivers (locomotive masters) are Tohidar Rahman and Golam Rakib.
Abdul Karim, in-charge of Central Locomotive Workshop, said the incident occurred when one of the drovers was preparing engine for Nil Sagar Express while the other was trying to park.
