Ctg domestic help found dead before employer's house, 4 held

An 11-year-old domestic help was found dead early yesterday on Paltan road before Mahanagar Building in Chawkbazar of Chittagong city where her employers reside.

Injuries on the body of Munni, 11 , of Dhaka's Dohar, indicate  that she either fell or was pushed off the building, said police who recovered the body  around 5:30am and then informed the employer, garment trader, Munir Ahammed, about the incident.

Munir claimed that Munni accidentally fell from the window of his daughter's room on the sixth floor of the nine-storey building while trying to flee from the house. But the claim appears to be unrealistic because it was a grilled window, said police.

Police detained three members of the family and the security guard of the building for quizzing and sent the body to Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
