Community healthcare providers demand nationalisation of job

Community clinic healthcare providers in Chittagong division yesterday demanded nationalisation of their job.

They also sought repeal of the 22 Gha provision of the proposed Community Clinic Health Care Trust Act 2015 that empowers the trust to reexamine the qualification of community healthcare providers.

The demands were placed at a human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club.

Such healthcare providers have been working in community clinics across the country under a government project launched in 2008.
