Charges pressed against 3

Khulna police yesterday pressed charges against all the three accused in 13-year-old Rakib killing case.

The accused are Omar Sharif, his mother Beauty Begum and his uncle Mintu Khan.

In early August, Sharif and Mintu inserted a high-pressure air pump nozzle into Rakib's rectum and filled the body with air, leading him to a horrific death only because the boy left Sharif's garage job and joined elsewhere in Khulna city.

Outraged locals caught the three after the incident and handed them over to police.
