Baniachang upazila vice-chairman Iqbal Bahar suspended

Iqbal Bahar Khan, vice-chairman of Baniachang Upazila Parishad in Habiganj district and Jamaat leader, was suspended on Wednesday as he has been indicted in a case filed for violence. 
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Shariful Islam received the letter issued by the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and confirmed the matter to The Daily Star. 
Khan has been accused of violence in six cases, said the UNO.
