Bangladesh Economic Association yesterday expressed outright condemnation towards the audacious comment by the Pakistan government after condemned war criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed were executed.

The two were top collaborators of defeated Pakistani occupation army during Bangladesh's 1971 Liberation War.

The BEA issued a statement in this regard yesterday.

The association demanded that the government sever all economic and diplomatic relations with Pakistan before December 16, if it does not seek unconditional apology within the next 48 hours for issuing an statement denying committing war crimes or atrocities in Bangladesh during the war.

BEA also demanded closure of Pakistan embassy in Bangladesh and establishment of different structures, including a museum, marking Liberation War there.
