Appeal for help

Sixth-grader Jinnat Sheikh, 13, has been suffering from a neurological complication for three months.

The condition was triggered by a head injury and he needs modern and long term treatment, said physicians at the National Institute of Neurosciences.

Doctors also advised his family to take him abroad for treatment.

His father Jahangir Alam, a grocer in Pirojpur, said he is already burdened with a loan of over Tk 5 lakh.

So, the family sought financial assistance from the well-off of the society to continue his treatment.
