Ananta murder case hearing deferred again

A Sylhet court yesterday deferred to December 20 the hearing of a case filed for killing blogger Ananta Bijoy Das.

The deferral came as eight accused in the case did not attend the court, court sources said.

Earlier on October 4, the hearing was deferred to yesterday, they said.

Blogger Ananta, also an activist of Sylhet Gonojagoron Mancha, was hacked to death by a group of assailants in the city's Subidbazar Bankalapara on May 12.
