5 pharmacies fined, 5 sealed for selling govt, unauthorised drugs

A mobile court yesterday fined five pharmacies a total of Tk 82,000 and sealed off five others for selling government medicines as well as unauthorised medicines in Chittagong city. 
Jahan Pharmacy and Madina Pharmacy at Notun Chaktai, and Maa Medical Hall, Mina Pharmacy and  Mukta Pharmacy at Hafeznagar Tulatoli  were fined while Mohsen Awlia Pharmacy, Kalyan Pharmacy, Milon Pharmacy, Rony Pharmacy, and Maa Pharmacy in Hafeznagar Tulatoli were sealed off as the owners fled sensing the mobile court's presence, said the executive magistrate.
