5 held for resorting to unfair means in civil aviation ministry recruitment test
The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism today detained and handed over five candidates to the police for taking necessary legal measures as they resorted to unfair means in the recruitment test for office assistant's post in the ministry.
The detained persons are: Mohammad Abdul Mamun Talukder of Garma village in Netrokona, Mohammad Hamim of Dewla Shibpur village under Borhanuddin upazila of Bhola, Akram Hossain of Baghutia village under Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur, Takrim Ahmed from Majlishpur village in Brahmanbaria, and Anwar Hossain of Birai village under Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh, the ministry said in a release.
On November 27, the written test for the recruitment of office assistants of the ministry was held at eight centres in the capital.
Examiners became skeptical of the behaviour of these five examinees and their answers to the questions during today's viva voce.
They were asked various questions they answered in the written test, but they failed to give the answers during the viva voce.
At this time, the board members of the viva voce checked their handwritings and found those to be different from the handwritings in the answer scripts.
During primary interrogation, the five examinees admitted to have resorted to unfair means in the written examination and were later handed over to law enforcers.
