400kg of polythene bags seized, three shop owners fined in Gazipur

The Department of Environment (DoE) yesterday seized 400kg of polythene bags from three shops and fined the owners Tk 15,000 each at Bhogra Bypass Bazar in Gazipur city.
A mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Rebeka Sultana conducted the drive and fined the owners of Shamsul Haque Store, Pias Store and Shariful Haq Store. Later, the polythenes bags were destroyed.
