3 pharmacies fined Tk 65,000 in Ctg

A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration yesterday fined three pharmacies Tk 65,000 on different charges including not having license and selling of date-expired and government medicines.

The court conducted the drive in Bandartila area of the city and fined Raj Medico Tk 40,000 and seized huge quantity of government medicines.

Later, Goutam Pharmacy and People's Pharmacy were fined Tk 15,000 and Tk 10,000 respectively.

Officials of Drug Administration assisted the drive.
