3 errant drivers, 8 pharmacies fined Tk 51,000 in port city

Two mobile courts fined three drivers and eight pharmacies a total of Tk 51,000 on different charges in Chittagong city yesterday.

Combined Pharmacy, QP Pharmacy, Seba Pharmacy, Medicare Pharmacy, M/S Jamalkhan Pharmacy, Sibli Pharmacy, S Drug House and M/S Pharmedic were fined in Cinema Palace, Mehedibag, Dampara and Jamalkhan areas for violating different rules, including selling expired and unauthorised medicines.

Another court fined two bus drivers Tk 500 each for having no license and fined another for not having the route permit, fitness and other necessary papers.
