3 Ctg cops closed for handcuffing physically challenged accused

Chittagong Metropolitan Police yesterday closed its three cops for handcuffing a physically challenged accused while taking him to a Chittagong court on Tuesday, confirmed CMP additional police commissioner AKM Shahidur Rahman.

The cops are Sub Inspector Shakhawat Hossain, Deputy Police Inspector Khokan Chandra Majumder and constable Shankar Dey. 

The three cops handcuffed Abul Hossain, who has no leg, while taking him to a Chittagong court in a case on Tuesday, reported in Prothom Alo yesterday. Abul was arrested on July 27 this year for possessing Yaba tablets.
