102 held in Jessore, Jhenidah 'for planning subversive activities'

Law enforcers arrested 102 people, including 13 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-Shibir, in eight upazilas of Jessore district and six upazilas of Jhenidah in last two days for planning subversive activities.

In Jessore, 70 people -- 11 BNP and Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists, and 59 accused in different cases over conducting violence, robbery and theft – were held yesterday.  A case was filed, reports our Benapole correspondent.

In Jhenidah, a court sent all the 32, including two Jamaat activists of Shailokupa, to jail.
