10 Shibir men arrested in Ctg

Police detained 10 Shibir men from Dakkhin Gobindarkheel area of Patiya upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

On information that Shibir men were holding a secret meeting to make plans for conducting subversive activities, police raided a mess around 1:00am and detained the Shibir men, said Refayet Ullah Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Patiya Police Station.

Police also recovered leaflets, banners, posters and Jihadi books from their possession, he added.
