10 BCL men sent to jail in Sylhet

A Sylhet court on Monday sent 10 local leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to jail after rejecting their bail petitions in a case.

The case was filed in connection with a clash between two rival groups in Shahjiragaon village under Bishwanath upazila of Sylhet on July 25.

Faijul Islam Joy, convener of Bishwanath upazila unit of BCL, was among the arrestees.
