Verified fake ATN Bangla News Facebook page runs stolen contents
A fake Facebook page posing as ATN Bangla News (https://www.facebook.com/atnbd24/) has stolen The Daily Star Facebook page's video content and is running it as its own using its logo in the video as watermark.
[facebook href="https://www.facebook.com/atnbd24/videos/1880890768861486/" width="500"][/facebook]The page is strangely verified with a tick mark by the Facebook authority -- which usually tells visitors that this is an authentic page of ATN Bangla News. But in reality, this page is filled with Islamic posts and some news contents without any sources.
The page uses a modified logo of the actual ATN Bangla; while retaining its basic characteristics. In the page's 'About' section, it says: Welcome to the official page of ATN Bangla News which is powered by Absolute Technology Network (ATN). 'ATN Bangla News' is actually created to distribute our community news & tech updates to millions of social media users.
The page on Friday ran The Daily Star's Live Video of Aynabaji famed actor Chanchal Chowdhury's hour-long interaction with The Daily Star's readers and embedded its own logo -- as if it was done by ATN News itself.

The Daily Star's Live Video of Chanchal was a massive hit Thursday that was more than 115000 instant views -- generating thousands of comments.
A top journalist of ATN Bangla told The Daily Star that they have already reported the fake Facebook page to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for proper action.
