CTO Forum to organize seminar on Cyber Security with Palo Alto Networks, India

Cyber threat has become a key concern all over the world living with the internet age, and Bangladesh is not afar of this threat. The enterprises and the social network community are also in the risk as It is clear that cyber-attacks are becoming ever more organized and subtle that need to be addressed. Specially for the corporate where consumer data and  enterprise  solution  need to be safe and secure above all to maintain. It is high time for us to prepare ourselves to meet the challenges to crack the code of hackers and face cyber threats.Attackers will go where users go, and this continues to be to mobile devices and the cloud. It should come as no surprise that mobile platforms and cloud services will be likely targets for attacks and breaches in 2015-16 in BD- Said Tapan Kanti Sarkar, President , CTO Forum Bangladesh  addressing the audience at the press meet that held today (October 25,2015)at Twofiq Aziz seminar Hall, The Daily Star Centre, Dhaka.

The press meet has organized by CTO Forum on its upcoming seminar that is going to held on October 26, 2015 at 7 pm in Dhanmondi Club, Dhaka. Considering the importance and to aware the enterprise and professionals about the cyber security  CTO forum Bangladesh and Palo Alto Networks, india  has jointly arranged this seminar titled  "Crack the Code – Prevent Advanced Threats". Anil Bhasin, Managing Director – India & SAARC Palo Alto Networks India Pvt. Ltd. will grace the program as the keynote speaker where .Tapan Kanti Sarkar , President, CTO Forum Bangladesh. A   Panel Discussion is also going held during the seminar where Mr.Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, Deputy Managing Director  , Duch Bangla Bank Ltd, Mr.S.M. Mainuddin Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director, South East Bank Ltd. Dr. Ijazul Haque, Head of IT Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC , Md. Tawhidur Rahman Pial, Member,CTO Forum Bangladesh will take part in a discussion as panelist . –informed the organizer at the press meet. The organizer  also share the insight benefit of the seminar and panel discussion to the media and attended the question asked by the audience. 
The internet has become a crucial factor in the rapid rise of the nation's like Bangladesh and its economic growth, nowhere more evident than among small and medium-sized enterprises, where it is producing large gains in productivity and changing local markets into global ones. In a  nation like Bangladesh, with infrastructure that enables the instant transfer of money, goods and service, the risk of cyber-crimes has increased exponentially. Cyber-crime is principally encountered in the realm of information technology. Smart phone platforms such as apps, cloud storage networks and all forms of social media such as Facebook. Apple Store and Instagram are prime targets for those who would seek to perpetrate crime on a vast audience, many of whom are ill-informed or even completely unaware of the potential for cyber-thieves to steal and utilise their precious information.

Considering this upcoming challenges in internet CTO Forum arranged this seminar where the enterprise and professional threats will discuss in detail along with the code to crack to prevent threats.

Dr. Ijazul Haque, Head of IT, Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, and secretary general of CTO forum, SAR Md.Muinul Islam, CTO & Director, Lanka Bangla Securities & Treasurer, CTO Forum Bangladesh,  Engr. Md.Sultan Badsha, Head of IT Division and Senior Vice President, Social Islam Bank Limited, Mr. Taslimul Haque, Head of IT, Bank Al-falah Ltd., were present at the press meet along with Mr. Tapan Kanti Sarkar.
