Make-A-Thon 2016

The hardware hackathon reprises

Make-A-Thon 2016, a three day long event ended on May 28 with the smiling faces of 10 winners. Organised by BetterStories Limited and The World Bank in partnership with the ICT division of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Make-A-Thon gave birth to a wonderful talent hunt. From 400 applications, 100 were selected who went through training and mentoring sessions to come out with 32 prototypes. The projects tackled problems regarding healthcare, transport and infrastructure, agriculture, biomedical engineering, energy generation, physical challenges, sustainable energy management and more. We bring you glimpses of the entire event through the photographer's eye.
