Super Star Group launches safety support programme for electricians

Super Star Group (SSG) has launched SSG Electrician Care, a support and safety initiative for electricians registered on the SSG Apon App.

The company said the initiative has been introduced to promote a safer working environment for electricians and strengthen safety awareness in electrical work, according to a press release.

Under the programme, registered electricians will receive financial assistance, subject to the prescribed policy, for hospitalisation and treatment in the event of accidental injuries sustained during electrical work.

In cases where an accident results in death, financial support will be provided to the electrician’s nominated beneficiary.

According to SSG, the initiative will also focus on promoting safe working practices and increasing awareness of electrical safety among electricians.

The company said electricians are among the most important partners in electrical work and that the programme reflects its commitment to their safety, recognition and support.
