SEYLON retains leadership in Bangladesh’s branded tea exports with 42% share
SEYLON remained Bangladesh’s leading branded tea exporter in 2025, accounting for 42 percent of the country’s total branded tea exports, according to data from the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The brand has maintained the top position in the country's branded tea export market for four consecutive years, says a press release quoting NBR data.
According to NBR statistics, Abul Khair Group, which owns the SEYLON brand, recorded branded tea export earnings of USD 1.47 million in 2025.
Finlay Tea ranked second with a 26 percent share of branded tea exports and earnings of USD 913,000, while Ispahani Group secured third position with an 11 percent share and export earnings of USD 381,000.
City Group and Vivid Venture ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
According to the data, SEYLON contributed nearly half of Bangladesh's total branded tea exports during the year.
The company said the performance reflects the growing presence of Bangladeshi branded tea products in international markets and the increasing competitiveness of the country's tea industry.
