National Youth Wellness Festival to be held at BRAC University
The Flow Fest, in partnership with Prime NOW, will organise a National Youth Wellness Festival at BRAC University.
The event, titled “You Be You: Find Your Flow”, will be held on April 22–23 at the university’s multipurpose hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm, says a press release.
Around 1,000 students from 10 universities are expected to take part.
The programme will include activities such as yoga, meditation, art sessions, music and guided wellness workshops.
Organisers said the event aims to create awareness about mental health and provide a platform for young people to engage in wellbeing activities.
Shazia Omar, founder of The Flow Fest, said, “We built this festival because our young people deserve a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Not a seminar. Not a lecture. A real experience where seeking help is courageous, not shameful.”
The festival will also include a photography contest titled “Stop Hiding Your Feelings. Express. Share. Heal.”
University students can submit entries for the contest until April 20.
The organisers said the initiative is designed to promote mental wellbeing, creativity and community engagement among young people.
