Gold Kinen recognised at Bangladesh Retail Awards 2026

Gold Kinen, Bangladesh’s first gold savings app, has been awarded in the category of the Best Retail Startup of the Year (Honorable Mention) at the Bangladesh Retail Awards 2026, organised by the Bangladesh Brand Forum under its Bangladesh Retail Forum initiative.

The ceremony took place on April 18, 2026, bringing together leading retail organisations and innovators from across the country, says a press release. The recognition comes as Gold Kinen completes three years since its commercial launch in April 2023.

Over this period, Gold Kinen has introduced a simplified approach to gold saving, enabling customers to start from BDT 500 at official market prices. By combining real-time pricing, insured vault storage, and a seamless app-to-doorstep pickup and delivery experience, the platform has expanded access to structured gold savings nationwide. Today, it serves nearly 4 lakh users, offering the ability to save, manage, and collect 22-karat hallmarked gold bars and coins through a secure mobile platform.
