Glenrich hosts Cambridge Principals’ Meet 2026

Glenrich International School, Uttara hosted the Cambridge Principals’ Meet 2026, organised by Cambridge International Education, bringing together more than 150 principals, school leaders and education professionals from across Bangladesh.

The event was attended by Rod Smith, global managing director of Cambridge International Education, and Arun Rajamani, managing director (South Asia) of Cambridge International Education, according to a press release.

The programme began with a welcome address by Manas Singh, CEO of STS Group.

He said, “Bringing together 150+ educators at this campus highlights the collective drive we have for improving the standard of education in Bangladesh. We firmly believe that real collaboration among educators is the key to meaningful learning for our students. By bringing together visionary leaders, we aim to inspire dialogues that shape the future of learning and empower the next generation in Bangladesh.”

The event also featured cultural performances by students of Glenrich International School, Uttara.

During the formal sessions, Cambridge Bangladesh highlighted developments in the Cambridge pathway, including the Primary Checkpoint programme and the growing number of schools offering the full Cambridge pathway.

The forum recognised institutions implementing the complete Cambridge pathway and schools promoting the use of authentic Cambridge resources and anti-piracy initiatives.

Glenrich International School, Uttara received a Letter of Appreciation for being a Cambridge Full Pathway School, a Letter of Appreciation for Anti-Piracy Campaigns Conducted Jointly with Cambridge, and achieved Cambridge Independent Centreship and Cambridge PDQ Centreship status.

Senior regional and global representatives of Cambridge International Education shared perspectives on evolving educational priorities, emerging opportunities and international best practices.

The discussions also focused on purpose-driven teaching approaches, Cambridge English Programmes, teacher development and school leadership.

Delegates discussed the role of peer-driven initiatives, professional learning communities and Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (PDQs) in strengthening teaching quality and leadership capacity.

The event concluded with a call for continued collaboration among educators to support the development of international education in Bangladesh.
