DU Management Department welcomes 32nd BBA batch

The Department of Management at the University of Dhaka held an orientation programme for its 32nd batch of BBA students.

The event took place at the Prof. Dr. Abdullah Farouq Multipurpose Conference Hall of the Faculty of Business Studies, says a press release.

Prof. Dr. Mahmood Osman Imam, dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, attended the programme as chief guest.

He spoke about the importance of ethics, self-development and academic focus, and encouraged students to balance studies with co-curricular activities.

Duke, chairman (Bangladesh region) of Jack Technology Co Ltd, attended as special guest.

He shared industry perspectives and said a large number of Dhaka University graduates are recruited by his organisation.

The programme was presided over by the chairman of the Department of Management, with faculty members and staff present.

The chair encouraged students to develop communication skills, take part in departmental activities and engage in campus platforms.

Two students from the new batch also shared their expectations and experiences.

Student organisations including the Management Debating Forum and Management Club were introduced during the programme.

The department said the orientation was arranged to help students begin their academic journey and engage in university activities.
