DIU hosts career planning seminar for software engineering students
The Department of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University (DIU) organised a day-long Career Planning Roadmap Seminar for students.
The event was held as part of the Art of Living course, aimed at linking academic learning with career planning.
Industry experts and academic leaders led sessions on leadership, communication, career readiness and emerging trends, including artificial intelligence.
Sohel Rana, AGM and Head of Operations at Bengal Polymer Wares Ltd, said, “building a strategic career in today’s digital economy requires adaptability, industry awareness, and continuous growth.”
Md Waliul Islam Nohan, AI researcher and founder of AladinAI, said, “in an era of AI disruption, those who learn, adapt, and innovate will lead the future.”
Professor Dr Imran Mahmud, head of the department, said the initiative aims to align course content with real-world learning.
The seminar included interactive discussions with student participation.
