Standard Islami Bank launches financial inclusion campaign

Standard Islami Bank PLC has launched a month-long “Financial Inclusion and Customer Engagement Campaign” to promote financial inclusion among unbanked and marginalised people and strengthen relationships with customers.

Md Siddiqur Rahman, acting managing director of the bank, inaugurated the campaign at an event held at the bank’s head office in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

The main objective of the campaign is to accelerate the country’s economic development by expanding Shariah-based modern banking services and increasing inclusion across all economic segments.

Senior executives from the head office attended the event, while heads of all branches across the country joined virtually.
