Mosharaf elected chairman of fertiliser association

Md Mosharaf Hossain, proprietor of M/s Mosharaf & Brothers in Dhaka, has been elected chairman of the Bangladesh Fertiliser Association for a two-year term (2026-2028).

The election was held at the association’s head office in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Md Mamunur Rashid Khan, proprietor of M/s MK Traders in Dhaka, was elected the first vice-chairman.

Mahmud Hasan Raju, proprietor of M/s Mahmud Hasan Raju in Thakurgaon, SM Babul, proprietor of M/s Malek Enterprise in Mymensingh, Md Nur Alam Patoary, proprietor of M/s Alam Trading in Jashore, and Mohammed Hakim Ali, proprietor of M/s Oxford Trading in Chattogram, were elected vice-chairmen.

Md Alauddin Chowdhury, proprietor of M/s Capital Enterprise in Dhaka, was elected director (finance). Besides them, 25 other directors were also elected to the association’s newly formed executive committee.
