Bank Asia partners with DHS Autos to offer car loans to customers

Bank Asia PLC has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DHS Autos Limited, a Bangladesh-based automobile company, to offer convenient auto loan facilities to prospective customers.

Md Zahed Chowdhury, executive vice-president and head of assets of the retail banking division of the bank, and Shihab Ahmed, chief operating officer of the automobile company, signed the agreement at Rangs Babylonia building in the Tejgaon Industrial Area of Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the partnership, customers of the automobile company will be able to avail themselves of Bank Asia’s auto loan facilities at competitive interest rates.

The collaboration will also include joint marketing initiatives, customer engagement programmes and various promotional activities.

The partnership is expected to simplify access to auto financing and help fulfil the aspirations of individuals and families seeking quality vehicle solutions, the release added.

Furthermore, Bank Asia PLC and DHS Autos Limited aim to strengthen their institutional relationship while contributing to the growth of Bangladesh’s automobile and financial services sectors.
