Bank Asia holds tax return filing training

Bank Asia PLC recently organised a day-long training programme, titled “Your Guide to Income Tax Return Filing”, to enhance employees’ knowledge of income tax return filing, tax compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.

Shahed Ahmed Chowdhury, additional commissioner of taxes at the National Board of Revenue (NBR), conducted the training at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD) in Lalmatia, Dhaka, according to a press release.

He provided practical guidance on income tax return filing procedures, requirements and compliance.

The programme also featured interactive sessions, practical exercises and knowledge-sharing discussions.

The training helped participants gain a clearer understanding of tax-related procedures and regulatory requirements relevant to their professional and personal needs.

Officials from different departments of the bank’s corporate office participated in the programme.
