Tax return deadline extended for companies until May 15

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for companies to submit their income tax returns by one more month, to May 15.

This marks the second extension. Initially, the deadline for filing returns for the 2025-26 tax year was set for March 15, which was later extended to April 15.

The latest extension came following requests from various business sectors seeking additional time, according to NBR officials.
