Stocks in upward trend since morning

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), soared 61 points, or 0.90 per cent, to 6,817 until 12.30 pm.

At the DSE, 265 stocks advanced, 69 fell and 36 remained the same.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also was in a rising trend.

The CASPI, the main index of the CSE, rose 247 points, or 1.26 per cent, to 19,914.

Among 173 traded stocks, 134 rose, 26 fell and 13 remained unchanged.
