Selim Khan made secretary of agriculture ministry

The government has appointed Md Selim Khan as secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, effective today.

Prior to his appointment, Selim was serving as an additional secretary (extension) at the same ministry, according to a press release.

On August 11, Selim was promoted to the secretary. A day after his promotion, the government appointed him as the secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Selim is an officer of the 18th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre.

During his career, he has served in various important positions in field administration, as well as in different government offices and ministries.
